Les Céramiques de Wifredo Lam

Fully illustrated exhibition catalog presenting Lam's ceramics alongside Chinese porcelain. This brings into light the possible connection between the artist’s Chinese ancestry and his new body of work.

 

“Les céramiques de Wifredo Lam” was published to accompany the exhibition presented at the Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet as part of the “Asie Maintenant” 2022 Season. It includes texts by Sophie Makariou, President of the Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet, Nicolas Trembley, curator of the exhibition and Eskil Lam, Wifredo Lam’s son.

With contributions from Eskil Lam, Nicolas Trembley, Dorota Dolega-Ritter and Sophie Makariou.
