Pop Forever, Tom Wesselmann &…

We are pleased to announce our contribution to the “Pop Forever, Tom Wesselmann &…” exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Two iconic works by Marjorie Strider — "Triptych II (Beach Girl)" and "Welcome" (both from 1963) — are showcased alongside Wesselmann’s Great American Nudes, creating a dynamic conversation between their works.

Curated by Suzanne Pagé, Dieter Buchhart, and Anna Karina Hofbauer, the exhibition is dedicated to Pop Art, one of the major artistic movements of the 1960s, whose influence continues to resonate across continents and generations.

The showcase centers on Tom Wesselmann (1931–2004), one of the leading figures of the Pop Art movement, in dialogue with 70 works by 35 artists from various generations and nationalities, all sharing a common sensibility for "Pop."
