We are pleased to announce our contribution to the "Arte Povera" exhibition at the Bourse de Commerce, Pinault Collection. Our Kazimir Malevich work "Dissolution of the Plane" (1917), one of the first and the largest Suprematist painting ever created by Malevich, is featured in this monumental showcase. This generation-defining painting is Malevich’s next logical step after his Black Square, sending the monochrome pictorial plane into space and inaugurating Suprematism.
Curated by Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, the exhibition features over 250 works, highlighting thirteen key figures such as Giovanni Anselmo, Alighiero Boetti, and Jannis Kounellis.
Set within the stunning architecture of the Bourse de Commerce, redesigned by Tada Ando, this exhibition emphasizes the rich dialogue between the Arte Povera movement and other major artistic traditions.
